This vintage 1960's attractive and unique yellow gold pendant features an open rectangular frame, overlaid with a lattice of fifteen 5mm Akoya cultured pearls and eight 2mm round cut mid-blue sapphires producing a 3D effect.
The reverse reveals the sub-frame of the design and is stamped K18.This high quality, interesting and unusual design is most probably European in original-possibly French or Italian.
The pendant is suspended upon a yellow flattened "S" link chain, 2mm wide and 460mm in length, with bolt ring fastener, stamped "18KT Italy".
Total dimensions 45mmx22mm (1 3/4 " X 7/8ths " approximately).
The item is presented in a handsome box.
